POVERTY TRAUMATIC

I don’t know what is in my mind right now. But, after the dinner with Miss Adele from Thailand was over, I always remember what she said about trauma, especially poverty traumatic. I have no idea what is the action to do for lost that trauma, but for sure I know the impact of that trauma is so complete, such as lack of confidence, feel not precious, and not believe in their dreams. I think there is yet another impact that unable to mention.

Generally, people just thinking to erase the poverty and make welfare but, they are forget to think about how to losing someone traumatic of poverty, mostly for children. They can’t handle their trauma so we can see many children living in uncontrolled condition and emotion. For example, children are the doer of criminal somewhere. They were doing that because they are in under poverty pressure.

Poverty that I meant is substandard living condition especially in economic aspect. Even though poverty is not just about economic actually, but it’s visible the most. Economic aspect influences most of the other aspects. As we know that many kind of poverty that people often talking about is opposite of economic, non-economic. Condition of non-economic such as oppress system, lack the access of social service, incapability, damage identity, relationship dynamic in community and spiritual dynamic.

Ok, back to the topic that I meant. When we know about those impacts, what would we do? I think now is the best time to think what actions that we must to do. Not only erase the poverty but also heal the traumatic itself. Firstly, we must sensitive to people around us, because not all people can show what they feeling. So we should understand their gestures. Who knows their heart so fear for something? Then, respect and care each other. No matter who you are, please do both of short steps and look the result. We can cut down the traumatic. I believe it and I’ll try. When you do it unceasing, increasingly many children will soon heal.
